Book Review: Growth Hacker Marketing

Good start to a brand new year. Managed to complete an audiobook this week. Titled: Growth Hacker Marketing: A Primer on the Future of PR, Marketing, and Advertising by Ryan Holiday

I was lead to this book because I had earlier read his book: Ego is the Enemy and Trust Me, I’m lying. But compared both of the works to this Growth Hacker Marketing, I would only give this book 🌟🌟🌟

What I like is that it does give a good background on the importance of being data driven in marketing and how regular testing is the key to successful growth hacking. It also provided much examples of what successful startups have done. While the same tactics might not be able to repeated. It is the mindset that we have to embarked on.

However, this book feels like it is reporting facts. It does not give in-depth analysis on the tactics nor it shares any framework of sorts. So if you are looking for a book for strategies on growth hacking. This is not the one. If you are looking to understand what is growth hacking, this can be for you.

You can find the free audiobook on NLB app.
