  2. Amazon: The Amazon Fire Phone is officially out. It has a 4.7-inch, 720p display, aluminum buttons, a Qualcomm processor, a 13-megapixel camera, and 2GB of RAM. It runs on Amazon’s Android-based Fire OS 3.5. There are two key features that differentiate from a typically Android phone. 1. There are four front-facing cameras team up to create “dynamic perspective,” a head-tracking tool that changes the phone depending on how you look at it. 2. You can have unlimited cloud storage for your photos. My thoughts: Nothing special, I was expecting something more innovative.
  3. Apple: In iOS 8, Apple will expose just about every manual camera control possible. This means that ISO, shutter speed, focus, white balance, and exposure bias can be manually set within a custom camera application. Photographers who love manual controls rejoice!
