Startups in Malaysia have good ideas and products but they will need to work on the business end to gain new deals and attract conservative Asian investors. They should also be more diligent in tracking their expenditure, one angel investor says.

It’s so coincident that a recent article by Cedric Chin (aka Eli James) talks about talent shortage in Singapore especially towards software engineers. Maybe this calls for an talent exchange between Singapore & Malaysia startups. “I assuming there are still biz dev talent around” One thing that comes to mind now is that Business school graduates could work with technical co-founders in Malaysia.
