Suffering from backaches – sitting too long may be the cause!

Due to my desk bound work, I too have to sit for around 6 hours a day. After working for a year I start to feel aching at the lower back area. I was thinking maybe…maybe age is catching up on me. Seems like there may be another caused to it. and I thought sitting 90 degree was good…

  1. Sitting 90 degree might have you overarched the spine which is naturally curved. If desk-bount is unavoidable, try sitting on an exercise ball (so called Swiss ball), as you need to balance yourself while sitting on top, hence calling the engagement of core muscles, which are the one we usually neglect hence the slouching. Also, it’s easy to do light stretching on the ball too.
