Google and Microsoft trade insults for April Fools
April Fools’ Day provides the springboard for companies to make some unbelievable announcements, but for Google and Microsoft, it serves as the perfect time to poke fun at eachothers’ shortcomings. With Gmail Blue, Google is teasing Redmond over a product that doesn’t officially exist yet, while Microsoft goes back to basics to poke fun at its rival’s “vanilla” search engine.

This is a good one. #aprilfool

  • Google Keep it to yourself...

Evernote has my data and frankly, I’m glad to pay them to keep it because they are who they are. One of the reasons I use Evernote is because it is their only thing. (For now.) Evernote is focused on making the service better. And it keeps that focus every year.

    I could not agree more.

    Google Shows Talking shoe

This weekend, Google was reported showing off some interesting products at The SXSW conference. Some of the new gadgets were: The talking shoe, which is their code name. They released a video above of what the shoe can do. The shoe has a google style color and inside theres a electronic that links to a android mobile phone, connects to bluetooth; the shoe uses a loud speaker to enhance your workout, walk or run faster, and keep you in shape. Apple had a solution just like this with their relationship with Nike to offer iOS based solutions for those who workout to keep track of their path, the amount of calories lost, and many other data points. There are also a lot of armbands and watches that will use sensors to keep track of your mileage, heart rate, blood pressure, and so on, in the upcoming months. None of those solutions are more creative than the talking shoe, which speaks on its actual voice. This shoe is a magnificent device and has its own personality to encourage you to workout to keep you in shape; which can trigger when you are inactive. This is just a research and developement video. However footwear companies may also take notes.

    This is too wicked!
@athancong challenge app should talk to this!

  • “Behind every Google Map, there is a much more complex map that’s the key to your queries but hidden from your view. The deep map contains the logic of places: their no-left-turns and freeway on-ramps, speed limits and traffic conditions. This is the data that you’re drawing from when you ask Google to navigate you from point A to point B — and last week, Google showed me the internal map and demonstrated how it was built. It’s the first time the company has let anyone watch how the project it calls GT, or “Ground Truth,” actually works.”

  • Hello family & friends,
In case, you all are wondering if I have venture into the world of insurance business. “I have NOT” I used to have the domain name leetucksing.com but I forgot to renew it and it was taken up by another guy.
Even in his meta description, he wrote he is Lee Tuck Sing who pens his thought on the site. Maybe his name is also Lee Tuck Sing :)
Maybe I should start something like Google ME -

Jim Killeen googled his own name and made a documentary about the men with whom he shares it.

Who knows who or what will I be able to find :D

If you’re interested in what’s “next” in the world of technology, then watching Google’s CEO speak at this year’s Zeitgeist is a can’t miss. Of course, his talk was centered around all of the areas that Google focuses on, but that’s becoming everything you can think of, basically.
